The new version of the virtualization software Parallels Desktop 20.1.0 is available. The new version includes some bug fixes for the recently released version Parallels Desktop 20, which has introduced interesting AI features for developers, see my article here.

Parallels Desktop 20 had significant issues on Apple Silicon Macs where some macOS applications (such as Safari and Preview) that were set as default in Windows 11 did not work correctly in certain apps such as Microsoft Outlook (Classic) and Microsoft Excel. Links and attachments did not open as expected in Safari or Preview, but this problem is now fixed in the new update version 20.1.0.
Rosetta emulation in Linux virtual machines on Apple Silicon Macs with macOS Sequoia did not work or did not always work properly. This issue has also been fixed in Parallels Desktop 20.1.0.
In addition: With the 20.1.0 update, Linux computers run seamlessly again. There were probably problems from time to time.
